Each conductor is insulated with semi-rigid PVC, while the 15 twisted pairs are protected by an overall foil shield with 100% coverage. A 24 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire provides an effective grounding path and helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The cable is finished with a durable PVC outer jacket and is suitable for CMG-rated communication cable applications.
The 15-pair configuration provides multiple communication channels within a single cable, making it particularly useful for systems that require several RS-232 or low-voltage signal circuits to be routed together.
